The South African network for Guided Imagery and Music:
This network was formed in August 2010, with 11 members.
GIM SA network members at the European GIM conference in Spain 2010
The functions of the network are:
- to co-ordinate the communication between its members.
- Promotion of the GIM method by means of the media and presentations in co-operation with the members
- Development, maintenance as well as marketing of the www.gim-sa.co.za GIM website
- Co-ordination of the distribution of resources, e g CD’s and books
- Co-ordination of the development of new music programs
- Further training or workshops (short music journeys, MARI )
- Social events for the members
- Facilitating the GIM primary trainers training
- Cooperation with other like minded networks especially the MARI network
